Maintaining Your Floor
Floors are underfoot every day and we often over look them, but if they aren't cared for properly they will not last as long as they should, nor retain or add value to your home property. Here are a few helpful tips to keep your floor looking new longer:
- Don't use water to clean your hardwood or laminate floors, use a specified cleaner that won't damage the wood or top surface.
- Vacuum instead of sweeping, this permanently and immediately removes the particulates so they won't scratch your floors.
- Re-seal your shower and tub grout once a year and replace your caulking every other year to retain the moisture seal in your wet zones.
